I'm 32 years old. I used to be a daycare teacher for seven years while I was studying. In 2016/2017 I lived in Australia on a working holiday visa. I currently live in Vienna where I teach English to preschool and kindergarten children. I love to see different places and interact with people from different cultures.
Also I've been a vegan for 10 years and vegetarian for 18.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've travelled quite a bit but sometimes I feel I don't get to fully experience the local culture and I think this could be a great way to do that as well as meet some cool and interesting people.

Interests

I love learning and trying new things. I've done two long distance hikes (500+ kms) and hope to do more some day. I also like to play soccer and do bouldering.
I've also tried skydiving, bungee jumping and scuba diving and want to try those activities again.
Mostly though I love to read and learn about just about anything. I always like to talk to people who are knowledgeable about things I am not.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011 I walked and completed the Way of St. James/Camino de Santiago. It's an approximately 800 km walk from the southwest of France to Santiago de Compostela in the northwest of Spain.
