Hi!

I am Martin and im currently 19 years old, with base in Denmark. On June 14, im starting on my adventure to travel from Denmark to Australia primary by roads and boat, with the awesome company of my friend!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of it's because i love travelling, and with that meeting new people. I have been really lucky to have travelled a lot with my family already, but i am tired of ordinary tourism, hotels n restaurants ect.. i love the "behind the scenes" aspect to meet the locals and experience the culture. and that is exactly a part of what Couchsurfing offers!

Interests

I love to spend time with all sorts of things. Most of all the best thing is to experience it with someone else.

I'm really found of the nature though, and love to combine it with sports (primary running) and actions sports. Adrenaline is one hell of a drug, and I love challenging myself to get there!

Traveling (almost why we're all here) is amazing. New cultures, history people landscapes, challenges and i think i see it like pursuing happiness.

I am really excited about music to, primary listening to different kinds, but also play some guitar is just awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of music, in completely different genres. I do definitely not like music which basically are 4 chords going around with a drumbeat behind it. I like listening to challenging music or music with amazing lyrics. Although I have been attracted to the rock genre since I was a kid (Hendrix, Sabbath, GnR, Pink Floyd) I really do enjoy almost all genres of Music. It Really comes done to the mood often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find it hard to pick a particular experience. One thing that will become amazing though, once im done with it, is my world hitchhiking tour from Denmark to Australia starting june d.14!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think we are able to learn much more than we think we are capable of, and people often give up far to easy, or set their goals way to low.

When that is said, I love to learn! Often things I could never see myself doing is fun, when someone else is showing it!

I have been running a lot in my past, and would be able to help out with your training. I play some guitar and can definitely teach a song or two no matter the skill level!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can contribute with the common house duty's, cooking, cleaning, walking the dogs and more (Im up for a challenge!) Hopefully share a great experience with you!
