About Me

Hey,
I'm originally from Bulgaria, I grew up in the suburbs of Sofia. Shortly after my graduation I took off to Thüringen in Germany, a place with a breathtaking nature. A month fter that I took my German language exam and started my studies in Munich. Even though it is an incredible city to live in it really took its toll on me the first few months because it's also not an easy one. But since then everything has been more than great. I study Indo-european linguistics and as minor i take Scandinavian languages and culture. Alongside I've been working at a really nice wine shop with some really nice people since April.
I'm a vegetarian. I guess that's not that important but it would be nice to be known if we cook together for example.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'm pretty much planing on travelling alone which opens an opportunity - meeting new people, speaking their language(!) or at least trying to, which is so amazing. It also sound exciting - I recently found I have relatives in Berlin and I met one of them and it was really great because she told me about the great experiences she had had during her couchsurfing through Asia. And for the trip I am planing in August to Stockholm I was also hoping on saving some money and enjoying the city more rather than a hotel room.

Interests

I could really just rewrite everything I wrote about what I study because I love it so much and it's my passion but I could also mention that I love photography. I've been shooting film for the last two-three years. And now that I've saved some money I am gonna finally buy myself a digital camera. And that kind of the most exciting part of travelling - pictures. I remember the excitement when I shot 3 whole film rolls on my old Russian Zenit when we went on a little eurotrip with my school in the eleventh grade. It was so amazing to view all the things all over again with the specific analogue charm.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music preferences really changed the last few years. I'd say that I mostly like all kinds of electronic music but mostly the calmer and chilled ones. I also enjoy classical music - my all time favorite is Wagner. I love Nicolas Jaar, Bonobo, Chet Faker, Alt-J and The XX - this is the other type of music I like along with The Kooks, Ben Howard and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, carrying 6 cups of cappucino without breaking any of them maybe, I'm not sure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not 100 percent sure what I ought to write in this field.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could share my "cooking skills" with the hosts hoping none of them are professional chefs. I could also share some great tea my folks send me from back home. A friend gave me a pack of incredible inscence after she came back from India like a year ago, so I could also bring some nice fragrances, which I realize sounds a tad weird.

I also have a camera :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
