About Me

Hi! I'm a happy, adventurous and chill dude. :)

I like meeting new people, discovering new places, learning new things, dancing at electronic music festivals, and thinking about life.

I've lived in Berlin for the last 2 years and know the city well by now; if I have time I can definitely show you around.

Some communities/movements that I like
- Effective Altruism
- Veganism
- Minimalism
- The Burner community
- The Couchsurfing community of course!
- Sustainability

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfing
Because meeting cool, local people and joining their adventures or following their recommendations when traveling is the absolute best way to travel.

Hosting
I've met so many amazing people and made so many friends through hosting, some of which I am still in contact with today.

Interests

I've been vegan since 2016, originally for environmental reasons, now for ethical reasons. I also don't travel by plane anymore, train is my favorite way to travel.

My goals in life are:
1. Make people happy
2. Make the world a better place

I've recently become more active in the effective altruism community and doing the most good I can do. I donate 10 % of my income to effective charities.

I love playing the guitar!

In my late teens I watched a lot of movies. I always rate every movie I watch on imdb and so far I've rated more than 800 movies and have seen more than 70 % of the imdb top 250 list. Some of my favorite movies and a few of the ones I've given 10/10 are
- Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon,
- 12 Angry Men
- Amelie
- Lord of the Rings (all of them)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about everything and I believe you can learn something from every person that you meet. At the moment I'm very interested in digital nomadism, philosophy, self-development etc

I love language learning and I'd be happy to teach you my techniques and Swedish, English or German.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happiness, stories, adventure! Good times :)

I'm always super grateful to get hosted and I do everything I can to make my hosts happy. I can cook for you or take you out to a restaurant or buy you a beer at a bar, I'm up for anything! :)
