Hello/Bonjour/Mabuhay! I currently live in Taoyuan, Taiwan, and work as an English teacher at a cram school. I am new to the travelling scene and so far, I love it! I love hearing stories/experiences from travellers, and 99.99% of the time I make new friends with strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in Canada, my life was pretty grim. Working 2 part time jobs in hopes of finding my own place to live and just being completely independent. Also, I worked my butt off to apply for dietetic internships to get my dream career, but for the 3rd year in a row, didn't get accepted. I wanted to use my so called, "anger"/rejection from this as an opportunity to self-discover, reflect, and do as many crazy experiences as possible!

Travelling so far has given me the best opportunity to grow as a person, and I hope one day to share all of these experiences with friends and family. My goal is to make as many friends as possible whenever I travel and I believe couchsurfing will help me acccomplish this.

2/14/2018: went on a 5 hour bike ride all over Tainan exploring the sights especially in the Anping district.
