About Me

Aloha! this is Martin, i'm 28 years old vegetarian boy from Argentina.
when i finished the school i started to study information system engineering, three years later the economic situation in argentina got worse so i had to left from the college and i started to work full day on sales, traveling around Argentina. In those days i was a bit dissapointed because i really loved that carrer, but the work was nice and i was working with friends, and not just working.. working and traveling.
Two years later i felt really good traveling and i decided take the next step to start my travel around the world.
My first travel was in Australia i've been there for seven months learning about the australian lifestyle, culture, wildlife, meeting new people and really having fun, those people inspired me to keep traveling.
During my stay in Australia i've been living for four months in a hostel there i meet many people from diferent countries, that was my first time living in a hostel and was really nice, then i decided move to a house with an aussie family. I've been there the last three months and that was a really special experience because i could share moments with the family like Australian Christmas and New Year and many things more.
So my plan for the next years, travel, meet people, learn about their lifestyle and culture, and share moments.
Also i have a project to finish in the next years, so i try to take 2-3 hours per day for study and programming, i think is very important if you can do those things you really like if you want to fell good with yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first time using couchsurfing, i kwow about it because one friend uses it all the time, he has been traveling for the last three years using the platform. I think Coachsurfing is the best way if you want to meet people and learn about their culture, lifestyle and the wildlife of your destination.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can be all day writing about what music do i like, to be honest i like all the music of all the times but i'm a big fan of David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, The Doors, to many more. I think in 60' to 90' are all the best bands of the world, also i like argentinean music like Soda Stereo, Gustavo Cerati, Sumo, Charly Garcia and more.
And if i go to a party i prefer electronic music. Anyway i'm open to know new bands and music genders, last year in Australia i meet a singer/producer who blowed my mind, she's Tash Sultana 100% recommended.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing i've done in my life is leave my old life away and start to travel around the world alone, i'm very proud of me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't write here what can i teach or what can i learn, this will be depending the personal interest of everybody but i wish learn about the culture and lifestyle of the people, that really blow my mind and is the main reason because i started to use couchsurfing also i love hear stories and experiences of the people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cook, for my is really important share moments like lunch and dinners and to learn about the culture, also i would like you to show me typical places of the city where I am, meet local people and maybe make a short trip in surrounding area if it's possible, i know sometimes this can be hard because people works and have a things to do, but if it's possible it can be great!
