About Me
Bonjour, Hi, My name is Martin, and I consider myself as a Wanderlust, who loves life so much! I have a young family with 2 boys and a dog. We love outdoor activities, meeting new people, and visit new places. We are friendly, sociable, open-minded and easy to get along with. You should be open-minded too!
We host to help travelers to accomplish their dreams! We are willing to host travelers for 2 or 3 nights since we get a lot of requests and want to help as many people as we can while trying to accommodate them to our busy lives.
Our philosophy is to always keep an open mind, throw yourself outside of your comfort zone and to never pass on a new experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We traveled quite a bit and we had very good experiences of people that run into our trips, and help us with directions, tips, or sharing whatever they have with us, so we think that now is our turn to give what we have received back. Also, I have been blessed with being hosted by some of the kindest and most interesting person while travelling in China, FJ, a great guy, and today I consider that person, part of my family, and the reason why I got serious into Couchsurfing. FJ and his family hosted me in many of my trips to China.
Please read very well our profile, to make sure you want to stay or meet us! We do not believe in the "tourist-package" vacation, as you hardly get to know the people one-on-one, share the daily experiences. We will give priority to Backpackers from Around the world and couch surfers with hosting references or verified, same. Travelers that are biking around the world, or North America are more than welcome to our places at any time, same for people that rock climb and live in a Van!
Please note that since we get too many requests, we will only reply if you put the word "Enzo" in your message request to us, otherwise it means you don't want to share with us your travel experiences or interact with us or with our community, but to get a free accommodation, meals, rides, etc. Our intention is to include you into my life, while showing you around and sharing our passion for travelling.
A "good couchsurfer" understands that they are part of a larger community, and that benefiting from the generosity of that community also means they have a responsibility to be generous to the community in whatever way they're able. Whether it's opening your house to a stranger, organizing events for no reason other than to provide a space for people who'd otherwise be alone, or simply getting a drink and having a chat with a lost traveler, I think a true CS'er finds joy in creating joy for others.
Many people see CS as a dating site, and other as a free accommodation and meal, if you are one of those, please don't contact us, and if you do, and we decline your request, please dont ask why, and the same thing for those of you that sent us a request without putting Enzo, or copy/paste message. ..you will get a NO right away without explanation.
Interests
We love to travel, to get to know new people, new experiences, new places. We mainly like the "non-conventional" stuff, so exotic adventures and hidden places are our first choice!
Music, Movies, and Books
We like all kind of music, but the classic rock-and-roll is hard to bit. Rolling Stones, The Beatles are our top choice!
We like to watch well thought movies, The Godfather is a classic!
Books.... depending on the day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Crossed the Aconcagua mountain by bicycle.
Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts
A full basement with a few sofas. Shared bathroom. Also, stories and experiences from our lives while having a beer or a glass of wine! Since we have a place in our car we can share also some outdoor activities: hiking, canoeing, boating, skiing, snowshoeing.... etc. But you will have to attain to the family schedule!
