Overview
About Me
A lifetime student and teacher, like all of us.
Getting more and more fascinated by life.
I love travelling and getting to know new people, countries, cultures, traditions and traditional food... I think it´s more than important for us to know this planet - it´s our home after all!
Plus i wish we people would get rid of the boundaries and prejudices we make.
I love to live very simply and in connection with the Earth. I love to connect with people having deep chats over glass of wine or beer or cup of tea. And also having cup of tea alone which is great way to connect with ourselves.
And i love trains.
PS: Do not judge Bratislava or whole Slovakia just by the main train station in the capital. Just take it as an interesting atraction, a bad joke or a successful attempt to be unique! - "Well, nobody´s perfect..."
"Be open-minded, but not so open-minded that your brains fall out"
"We dont stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing"
Thoughts of the day from travels:
"Better to have company in hell than to be alone in heaven" - old Israeli man
"The only thing which is improving today is technology. With our heads we are still in the middle age" - extraordinary Slovenian cashier
(Talk about backpacking) "Its great. I can do what i want. I feel like fish in the water..." - Juno from Hongkong, on his journey, 20 months after leaving home
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
-Fascination for this beautiful, diverse and colourful planet with all the creatures living here.
-Looking for the craziest, funniest and most awesome people out there/trying to bring their awesomeness out.
-Connecting and cooperating with people, there has been enough of separation in this world.
-Living more passionately and intensively by connecting, sharing and caring.
-Helping and socialising - its our human nature. And by helping others you help yourself, too, maybe you just dont know about it.
-Experiencing real life of local people, talking with them, laughing with them, crying with them...!? And feeling the atmosphere of the visited place. Church from 14.century can be interesting too... But at the end of your trip it doesnt really matter if you have visited 10, 1 or 0 churches or how many pics of them you took...
-By using CS you can experience things which money cant provide you. And yeah I admit. I dont have much money... :D

Music, Movies, and Books
music - Dire Straits, R.E.M., RHCP, Simon and Garfunkel, Billy Joel, Steve Harley, Aurora, Russian Red, The Dø, Dua Lipa, Wanda, Marek Brezovský, instrumental music, Tarantinos soundtracks.
I am also a saxophone sound lover, but sounds of nature/real silence (in high mountains) are best though.
But honestly, i think i can really like anything i hear. Depends on situation. I try to use music as a tool.
movies - I watch only a few movies yearly. I am very passionate about (mostly older) Czech cinematography.
- international production - powerful message/great plot: Intouchables, Crash, Jagten, Interstellar, A Bronx tale, La belle verte, Hot shots, Snatch, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Requiem for a dream, Mr Nobody, Inglorious basterds and other TARANTINO's movies
books: The Stranger, The Four Agreements, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Way of the peaceful warrior, My experiments with truth, The star rover, Brave new world, Animal farm, Cant hurt me.
Favourite author is Paulo Coelho.
My number one book is definitely The Little Prince.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing i have ever done was when i first breathed in on my own.
And because i am asked only for one thing, another amazing thing was to coorganise an Indian summer camp for children, feel their energy and play outdoor games with them.
And because i realized that less is better, you can forget both (but remember this third one)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have spent long time in Germany and Slovenia so i can share my experience from travelling and living (especially) in these countries. Or some solo (bike road) trips i did.
Otherwise i can offer you some information about business, productivity, movement exercises and mindset, farming, environment, Slovak history or geography, swimming, basic juggling patterns...
Id really like to learn how to dance, sing and draw. In a proper way i mean. When i was younger i found these activities girlish... But times changed. I mean whats better than art - expressing yourself?
Definitely want to start with an martial art too.
