About Me

This is my second profile here. Couchsurfing handled a request wrongly and deleted everything with all my feedbacks. So here it goes. Starting from zero again

First rule of couchsurfing: Be a cute single girl. So, I am out of luck in this department. But you know what, I can dress up like one, write standard messages and pick my host from the sea of proposals. Although I'm hairy and have a deep voice... Fuck! Back to square one.

I don't take life seriously. I'm easygoing, respectful, very curious, love to laugh and I can be quite ironic and sarcastic at times. I would consider myself as a sarcastic humanist.

I am an adventure seeker. Whenever somebody comes up with an abstract or surprising idea I am ready to plan it and put it into action. "Normality" and "routines" are not something I can submit to very long. I am drawn by a force of nature to the outdoors. The further away, the harder to get there, the more the obstacles, the more I am intrigued, the more I feel the absolute romantic sense of the word freedom and life itself. Every step taken is itself an experience and is giving you back so much more.

I am also self-sufficient and I'm not at your place to take any advantage of you and if I wrote you, I find you really interesting and want to get to know you!

Mottos worth living by:
"If you have to force it, it's probably shit."
"The things you own end up owning you. "

I can tell you all about Asia, man because I spent a week in Phuket which was rad. And there is this bananapancake trail you can follow which is freakin' awesome because I f***in love bananapancakes. And let me tell you, one time I fell off my scooter in Thailand while driving really fast. That was ratched! It's so cool here, all the party hostels, rad, dude. It's like you never even left home because all your homies from home (rhyme hehe) are here.
Yeah, that's not me

traveling, hiking, eating, hitchhiking through countries, climbing, reading, meeting new people -and through meeting people I get rid of prejudices I didn't even think I had... and that is the truly eye-opening experience and so much more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to quench my thirst for the great aspects of humanity. I like to meet amazing people like yourself who can show me more than the usual local bucketlist items to see and hopefully spend an awesome time together by learning from each other, entertaining each other and come up with crazy or stupid ideas to put into action

Seeing the monuments of a country is one thing but meeting people with whom you can talk, confide in, who engage you and have the great conversations of life makes all the difference. Hard to find these people but when found, it leads to some awesomeness (I like this word and I'm not even American).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on Taksim square in Istanbul when the shit hit the fan. It was the very first day the uprising began against the Erdogan government. I thought it was a football game at first because there was a lot of flag waving and then came the teargas. It was quite an energizing and intense moment.

We found a small surfshack in the South of Sri Lanka which was run by 5 local friends and 4 days later we ended up behind the bar serving drinks and going to every party that our 5 friends came up with.

I spent a week in a silent buddhist meditation retreat and for a brief moment (a few days) I did not feel a sense of self. I felt very content. I felt like a Buddah. I know, I am a very humble person.

Diving with a dozen huge manta rays, seeing a thershershark from 5 metres away and witnessing an amazing and intelligent, shape, texture and color changing octopus on a level that would make a chameleon look like an amateur.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm a pretty good listener and a pretty decent cook. I know a little bit about woodworking. I like to help out with whatever stuff you are busy, because I am an awesome person.

Learn: history, politics, economics, sociology, philosophy, psychology and whatever topic comes to mind to immerse in the ancient Greek debate method of dialectics.

Share: I have seen quite some amazing stuff and did some pretty crazy things on my own but there is nothing that is as uplifting and rewarding than sharing some of these amazing and unique moments with somebody.
