About Me

I'm a 22 year old student from Austria. I am currently studying in the United States in the wonderful city of New Orleans and trying to explore America at every opportunity I get. I am enjoying my year abroad very much so far and I'll be ready to host people myself once I am back home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am really looking forward to meeting nice people via couchsurfing and I would describe myself as an easy person to host. I am fine with basically every living arrangement and have no problem with encountering new people and making new friends around the world. I'm eager to not just be a guest but also spend time with my hosts, if they're willing to, and share life even if it's only for a brief time.

Interests

I love to travel and see as much as I can of a place once I get there. I really like to be a traveler and not a tourist when I go somewhere and I am always interested in exploring.
Otherwise, I am into music a lot and play the bass and guitar and am always up for exploring the local music scene. On top of that I am a big history nerd and I am always up for exploring museums and other interesting places that teach you a place's culture and history.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am interested in a broad field of music and open to every genre but my favorites are rooted in prog rock, alternative and funk rock. Just to give an idea here are some picks:
Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Parliament Funkadelic, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Pink Floyd, Die Nerven, Mother's Cake, John Frusciante (solo stuff), Kreisky, Primus, and many more.

The last movie I saw was the Hateful Eight and I really enjoyed it.
Whenever I have time I get my hands on a book that interests me. Last series of books I read was The Song of Ice and Fire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I host private living room concerts in my hometown - a really intimate and unique way to enjoy local and international music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always open to share my life with people I meet. Be it exchanging stories, making music or seeing and experiencing new things - count me in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook so whether as a guest or a host I am happy to indulge in some culinary sessions.
