Overview
About Me
I live in Pardubice, it's a city in Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic. I work for the University of Pardubice, assisting at the dean's office of transport faculty, and I'm doing my best to finish my PhD during the same time. I have always liked transportation, that's why I chose the study of Transport management, at this is very close to travelling...
Even tough I don't drink much booze, I happen to be a president of our local ESN section at my university. Being an ESNer is probably the best way how to explain how I like getting to know new people from all over the world ;)
I really love Nordic countries, especially Finland. I have spent my two Erasmus stays in Finland and I wouldn't change it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reasons are mainly two - the possibility to find an overnight with limited budget and social networking.
I am that kind of traveller, who has already visited plenty of places, but as more as I visited, as more I want to see... I usually don't mind sleeping in the tent all over the world (I have been camping even in New York City), but time by time, I just need a bed to sleep, and since there is a bonus of meeting new people included, Couchsurfing is great choice for me :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite book - the best one according to me is Pillars of the Earth written by Ken Follett.
Favourite movie - plenty of them, for example Tarantino's Django Unchained, Inception, Lord of the Rings (even tough the book is better), and I also like traditional Czech commedies very much...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We did an amazing 13 days tour around Iceland only with one car, one tent and cameras ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am teaching different topics from public transportation and transportation economy at the university, if you're interested ;)
I would love to learn different culture and art from all over the world
I can share my life experience and I expect the same from other couchsurfers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Firstly, I can share a place to sleep over. The other things depend a lot on my current business, but if possible, I like to spend some time together chatting, having a meal and sharing experience.
