Overview
About Me
I am volunteer and lover of culture and traveling from Pilsen - European capital of culture 2015. Until December 2019 I was living for 15 months in Bulgaria like volunteer European Voluntary Service. Now I am back in my home city Pilsen working in a company, which makes projects for transport buildings in the city.
I’m very polite, intelligent and reliable person. Maybe I don't speak much, but if I say something, it has always deep meaning, I don't like to speak about nothing. I like to meet people and talk with them. I have many interests, I like for example travelling, nature, industrial architecture and exploring new places. But mainly I like all kinds of culture - theatre, classical music, visual arts, old cinemas, alternative cultural spaces... and organizing cultural events.
That’s why I became a volunteer in culture in Pilsen. I love volunteer work and I like to go to a foreign workcamps as good way how to travel, meet new people and get know the local culture. And volunteering for one year in Bulgaria was great experience.
But sometimes I would like go somewhere not organized, and I always like it more if I can find somebody to enjoy the time on this place together and Couchsurfing is great tool for it.
I have studied Transportation Systems at the Czech Technical University and I am working on this field right now, but I like also work in culture or nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet new people and explore with them their culture and interesting places in their home. I would like to find some friends to spend common time in this place and enjoy the trip. I want to see some important monuments, but much more I like hidden places interesting for local people and without tourists. And also I would be happy to show you the same in the place, where I am living.

Movies: The Lord of the Rings (the best films, books and music), Harry Potter, Shrek, Avatar, The Da Vinci Code, ...
If you want to get to know me better, here are 3 movies almost about me: Amélie, Fremont and Norwegian TV series Arkitekten.
Books: I like reading books, but usually i have no time. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I became the volunteer. It’s most amazing thing, because it changed my life. Since then I enjoy volunteer work and I met many new people, found new interests and discovered new places around Europe. And I was living like volunteer in foreign country for more than one year and it was great experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I live in Pilsen, 4th biggest city in the Czech Republic and very beautiful and interesting place. If I will have time (mostly during weekends), I would be happy to be your guide in Pilsen or in Prague, which is also like my home city (or somewhere else). I can show you or explore with you interesting places or visit with you some cultural events (if you don’t want to go to pubs or clubs - I don't know much about this topic).
I know everything about Czech (and a bit also European) trains and public transport, so I can give you travel tips and recomendations (or some deeper knowledges).
If you are interested in gardening, I can show you my permaculture garden, which is on the very beginning (so not much permaculture yet) and I am also beginner, but I can share my experiences and I would be happy to learn something new.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lot of travel, culture and mostly volunteer experiences. I travel only by train so I can share with you my experiences and advices about it. I can also show you some basics of Bulgarian embroidery, which I learned short time ago and I really like it. :) I also learned how to cook little bit, so if there would be time, I could try to cook some Czech food.
And of course some little help, if you need. I must always to do something, I don’t like if someone serves me.
