I'm originally from Albania, moved to the states when I was ten and have lived in Michigan, Seattle and Atlanta during my time here. Graduated Albion college in Michigan with a political science and psychology double major. Have worked in marketing and teaching since then. Got introduced to art direction in Seattle at a wonderful little design school called SVC. Went to Atlanta to build a portfolio, came back to Seattle prematurely to be with my family, and took some classes to continue pursuing art direction. Now that my portfolio is almost finished I am putting all my time and energy into entering the advertising industry here in San Francisco. It's a city I fell in love with when I first visited about a year ago during a brief stay here with my girlfriend. I love to travel and appreciate all the kind and fascinating people I've met along the way. It has profoundly influenced my goals and ambitions, as well as shaped my understanding of sharing experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn about New cities , meet new people and hopefully find a good opportunity to start my new career in this beautiful city. I hope I can somehow repay someone's gracious hospitality with a nice meal here and there, good company, and interesting stories. I'm also looking to freelance while I search for permanent employment as I jump from couch to couch. Having that little bit of freedom and wiggle room financially that couch surfing selflessly provides will go a long way in helping me freely pursue job opportunities while meeting new people.

My taste in music varies with what I'm doing and is too broad to even start defining. My favorite movies include Silver Linings Playbook, the departed, before the devil knows you're dead, and can't buy me love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have almost been to all 50 states after a recent road trip that lasted 3 months and covered about 20 or more states.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really can't presume to know enough about anything to be an authority on it but I do speak Albanian, a good bit of Italian, know a thing or two about beer, love food and the culture it rests on, have taken thousands of photos some of which are good, and I spend too much time on Adobe creative suite. I would love to learn about the city, your travels, any of the things I mentioned above, there's always opportunity in listening to someone with an open mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share travel experiences, good meals, a ride somewhere as I will be bringing a car, photos I've taken traveling over the years.
