HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Am new to couchsurfing. Traveled a lot a few years back, was introduced to couchsurfing by a travelling friend. Last couple of years I've been constantly on the move around Sweden, not having much time to travel or a proper home to host

Interests

I'm an outdoorsy kind of guy. After having spent most my life in the northern parts of sweden I must say skiing is my primary interest. Spend 20-30 days a year on skis; mostly ski touring/rando and telemark, in the Hemavan/Tärnaby area (where the best swedish skiers come from), Kiruna and about, and the Alps. In summer I enjoy kayaking and hiking in the swedish mountain range a.k.a "fjällen". A bit sad to say that my work consumes most of my weekdays (and sometimes nights and weekends aswell). Need to get away every now and then to get some time off!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming at sunset amongst flourescent plankton in Vietnam, every swimstroke left a glowing trace. Magical!
Standing at one of the Kiruna mountains at 11 PM late in May after a 6h climb on skis and skins, looking at hundreds of snow covered mountain tops under the midnight sun. The best experience sweden has to offer, ever!
