One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing, scary and intense thing that happened to me was, when I almost died climbing a volcano in West Sumatra. We were stopped by heavy rain on the way up so we took shelter under a tree, it got dark in the meantime, we decided to continue, then we were above the forest level in the open area with only rocks, we got lost in the fog, heavy rain and wind, three people with one working flashlight. We were really lost with no idea where are we going on slippery rocks and it was really cold and pure darkness everywhere. Instead of 6h trek it took us almost 12h to get to the top. But we survived :)
