Medical Student from Graz, Austria.
I grew up close to Vienna, moved to Graz when I was eight years old and am still living here to the current day. However, I have lived in British Columbia, Canada alltogether for almost two years and see it as a second home. I have also travelled within Europe, the US, Russia and Central Asia, India and Sri Lanka, the Balcan, Turkey, Iran and have enjoyed these experiences, which I'm so glad to have made.

Since my girlfriend is from France we are now mainly visiting each other which gives me the opportunity to visit that great country with more frequency.

Besides Studying I worked at the Institute for Medical Psychology as a study-assistant, as well as at the Institute for Pathology at my local university. Also I am part of the Department for Global Health and Development at the Medical University.
I helped organize beneficial ski races for the support of women with breast cancer and volunteered as a ski coach at a local ski club.
I was an active member at the Austrian Alpine Club and Member of Board for Nature and Environmental Protection in Graz.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I can't host surfers but I'm able and willing to show people around Graz whenever I'm here. I think of CouchSurfing as one of the best ideas and concepts made available through Internet and globalisation.
