About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi am a 30yrs old.
I live is a small village on the banks of the river shannon called Ballina (next to the adjoining village of killaloe).
I couched surfed back in 2014 and wanted to make my house available now that I have the opertunitie to offer someone else a place to stay.
My work life balance is focused alot on personal and faith development. I am not a practising Catholic in the traditional sense however I do hold value in the teachings of the Gospel and wanted to extend hospitality to others. I am not preachy or do not have any expectations around faith ect. My house is relatively small. I have a comfortable couch bed and a double bed onsuite depending on availability. I am not in anyway pushy about who comes and just ask that you try to leave it the house as you found it. I am open to sharing food, telling you places you may like to visit and ensuring you have your own space to do as you see fit. My house has access to the back garden and if you smoke I'd just ask ask you do it outside. Iv traveled alot and i have met many kind, caring people who have given of their time to ensure I had a great break. I have done alot of work on personal development. I enjoy volunteering and I continue to be humbled by others and their experiences. Whether your passing through, attending a function or just want a short break away; you are welcome to come and stay.
If you want to learn more about where I live cheak out (http://www.discoverkillaloe.ie/).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I Originaly joined couch surfing while in Newyork on a J1 working Visa. I was short of cash, wanted to explore and meet new people.
I find the best part of any trip is getting to know the locals, getting to see their lifestyle and being open to new experiences.
As a host i can help others get a feel for the irish life style, introduce them to my friends, help them save cash and have a great time.
I hope to grow through my encounter with others and look forward to the opertunity of being hospitable.
Interests
I have had to edit this section as iv changed alot over time. Currently I enjoy becoming more familiar with myself and relationship with the world around me. I find movment/dance very helpful in unlearning old habits. I am openminded and appreciate our need for our own space so just know I don't expect you to share my interests. You are welcome to come exactly as you are.
