I'm finishing my fourth year of university in Environmental Studies and I've been a bird bander the past few summers for research purposes. I like new experiences and adventures. I prefer traveling off the beaten path and getting a little lost along the way. I often get told I'm down to earth, laid back, and quickly out-going once we get to know each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After travelling in hostels, I don't think I can ever go back to staying in hotels. I'm doing it for economical reasons but I also love meeting new people and getting to know an area through a local rather than a travel magazine! Just recently made my couch surfing account, but I've couch surfed with friends and made some pretty great memories.

I unfortunately can't accept guests at the moment, but that day will soon come!

Interests

Music is a huge part of my life, there's always something playing and I'm singing with it! Love going out to live shows, especially at intimate low key venues. I'm very connected to my natural surroundings, I love being in the outdoors (backcountry hiking, camping, canoeing..anything outdoors). Don't really follow sports but I'm pretty competitive and love to play them. Studying, friends, family, birding, board games and crossfit tend to fill my free time.
