Being a bit more like I'm now than I've ever been.

I am not the typical party guy, but I don't oppose relaxed evenings with good music and animated conversation.
I'm considered to be rational and nice, although I've done lots of rubbish like everyone has to do in my opinion, otherwise tomorrow one would live as one lived yesterday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I am living at a students house, right now, therefore not able to offer a couch or any other place to sleep on more humane than my carpet. But I've surfed a bit and would like to pay back the kindnesses I encountered asap.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my way to a half-a-year internship in England, I found great hosts in Utrecht (NL), Antwerp (B), Nord-pas-de-Calais (F) and finally also in England.
I also went Couchsurfing in Zurich (CH), Fribourg (CH), Luzern (CH) and Strasbourg (F)

This is gonna be continued, naturally...

Movies: first of all: Good Will Hunting! right now also Spaghetti Western - Sergio Leone was a damn genius!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught myself Ancient Greek (inspired by Helen DeWitt's "Last Samurai", read it and try to resist the temptation of learning loads of languages)

I teach German as foreign language at Heidelberg University.
No, I'm not a professor. It's basically a student job.
But I'm good at it. If you need a lesson, ask me :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll bring goods from Germany, depending on requests.
I can also bake excellent (German-style) bread.
