About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Writing, reading, talking, dancing. And some other things.
ABOUT ME
So, I live in Berlin since almost a year and a half now. Before I moved to Berlin, I lived in Marseille, a city for which i left my pretty but just a bit too clean and proper home town of Stockholm. I'm learning how to sing and play the guitar, but I'm still a complete beginner so anyone with guitar skills would be more than welcome to stay here and teach me:) I like films a lot (you know, watching them, talking about them, planning making them, not actually making the films you planned but doing something completely different) and the last one I really enjoyed was Tetro, an at the same time ironic and epic story of an author coming to terms with his familly situation. Another thing about me is that sometimes i just start talking about whatever, telling stories or retelling the stories of others. But its also very important for me to be alone, or to hang around without needing to talk or to "do something". What more, well, I recently started liking cats after my whole life having considered myself a "dog person". Now I simply like both. And I usually have porridge for breakfast. Oh, and the reason it says my last login was in Holland, is because the server I use is there. Physically, I'm in Berlin.
PHILOSOPHY
Oh. difficult subject. I'm probably a Spinozist-Nietzschean-Marxist. But I'm very open.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Interests
Litterature Philosophy Music (right now I mainly listen to techno like mathew jonson, but I really like Nina simone, Dylan, the velvet underground and so on and also old rock-a-billy stuff and yeah lots of different stuff. But not rock, well at least not white rock like what are they called again.. metallica. haha they're so bad and I think it's like the biggest band in the world:DDDD) Dancing, Films, Painting (well as in the art form; not the action. not that don't like it, I'm just no good at it...)

Music, Movies, and Books
In my mother tongue, Swedish, my absolute favorite is Selma Lagerlöf whom you may (or, perhaps more likely, may not:))know for Nils Holgersson, the guy who travels around on a duck, or for being the first woman to obtain the Nobel prize for litterature. Another good swede is Eyvind Johnsson, my favorite from him is Strändernas Svall a beautiful retelling of the Odyssee. I realize now that i could go on forever, but a few non-swedish favorites are Perec - La vie mode d'emploi; Bernhard - der Untergeher; Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse or the Waves; Tchechov Turgenyev Dostoyevski GogolI like lots of films, Just saw Nausicaa by miyazaki, I like some hollywood stuff, some american indie like fight club or eternal sunshine (i like that guy by the way, whats his name, the writer, kaufman? he made "Adaptation" kind of about himself I think) Swedish director Roy Andersson and so on. Lots of good films in the world, feel extremely ignorant when I think about it :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can't think of anything witty to say, and i'm not trying to be witty by saying that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to work with reparing bikes and I know some stuff from the history of Philosophy. Curiously, I also know some maths, a subject I studied for three semesters.
And learning, yeah I would say learning is my favorite hobby, but right now i I'm particularly interested in music and how people become who they are. And I would really like to learn car mechanics.
