About Me

- current mission : home is where you park it

time to pick up this project of mine from where it's been left years ago.
now more than ever i feel there's no place i deeply feel like calling home and neither am i looking for one. or maybe i do, time will tell

- my philosophy -

anyone's freedom ends where someone else's begins. i believe that anybody who understands this principle has no real need for laws or codes, as true mutual respect among humans would simply make any written rule obvious and redundant

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

- couchsurfing experience -

been surfing my first time the beginning of 2011, definitely a positive experience . hosted a few people since then and had only good experiences as both host and guest. not just a clever way to spare money when on a tight budget, but an opportunity to meet and share something with people you would normally have lower chances to meet because of factors such as different interests and lifestyles

Interests

listening to music, studying the mysteries of sound engineering , tasty food, constructions, dogs, cars from the 60's / 70's and other vehicles as long as they're rear wheel driven, exciting movies, inline skating, clever people and well made stuff in general.
i'm quite skilled as a dj , feel free to wake me up from your couch and book me for free ! there's 2 sets on my soundcloud page if you enjoy breaks, glitchy tech-funk and the likes

i'm a good listener, not much of a drinker, and the ultimate in keeping other's secrets, i guess the things are connected

Music, Movies, and Books

the one movie i'd bring with me on a desert island is probably The usual suspects
two music styles i enjoy in particular: drum and bass and psychedelic funk/breaks, although i can enjoy listening to all kind of music from classical to anything really, as long as it gives me something. except maybe for extreme metal and psychotic jazz jams, but never say never
I didn't read so much since childhood, i've only recently restarted but i loved "Q" by Wu-ming

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

playing my liveset on a monster rig on a lake shore in Portugal, after traveling all the way there from France in the back of a truck with other people and being severely injured in a dog attack in order to protect my own puppy.
mission accomplished!

Teach, Learn, Share

except for how to pull some noise out of a drum machine and a synthesizer, nicely beatmatch two spinning records and safely drive a car or van.. i think i have not so much i could teach anybody yet .. but i'm very interested in learning pretty much about anything and i'm good at it

What I Can Share with Hosts

i like to talk and discuss whatever thing of interest with others, share opinions and experiences, find out what other fellow humans think and feel about life in general and the world surrounding us. i'm by no means a cook, but the few dishes i can make use to receive good feedback; looking forward to hear yours
