HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Depends on :) If you like, I can show you the city. I prefer hanging around in local pubs instead of partying all night long.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I must admit I'm not yet so experienced, but I like the idea of CS.

Interests

If time (and my piggybank) permits I explore urban life, as well as pure nature in foreign countries. Outdoor activities are as much essential, as getting in contact with local culture.

Films: directed by David Lynch and Tim Burton.

Music: Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros, Clueso, Killers

Books: Walden and Nick Hornby - Small Country. Sometimes I prefer travel reports like McGregor/Boorman - Long Way Round or Thomas Meixner - Rundherum.

Anyway, I'm open to new stuff...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Till now, Iceland was most impressive. The complete absence of any visible life at the north-east was simply stunning. Anouter Place I sometimes think of is Jökulsárlón, a glacial lagoon, where million drops of slowly melting icebergs cause an uncomparable sound.
