About Me
Heii everybody,
What can I say about me?
I'm shy but super friendly person. I find people always interesting for some aspects of their life and personality and I find fascinating learning about them. Meeting people is a fantastic experience and I'm that kind of person and is sincerely interested in someone's story!
I like to consider myself an active listener, more than a good story teller, but if you show to be interested as well in my life I'm also open to disclosure myself ;)
I love get involved in big conversation and topics as science, society, psychology. Unfortunately I'm not suitable for small talks.
I'm funny, most of the time you'll find me sarcastic and ironical ;D
Easygoing, adaptable, flexible! Not too picky, neither fussy...experience the best and have experience adventure are my priority! I leave comfort to other kind of people.
I love adventure myself in risky situation and I always struggle to get out from my comfy zone. The challenge with myself is the best for me and having a competitive and challenging person by my side is simply "wow"!!
I'm a slow thinker, a thoughtful person, an outgoing introvert...u can find me always in my natural environment: a good book, an intense and intertwined movie, a park and most of the time in my mind!!
Don't wanna say more and let u discover the rest ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There is a story for this so sit down and listen to it: I opened my account during my last month in erasmus in Krakow cos I wanted to travel with this big community we created here, to The Netherlands! Unfortunately u could be hosted by any of my dutches (♡)...u was almost giving up but I had this strong sensation that I had to, first of all, finish this experience with a "BOOM!!", and that I'll miss something not being in nijmegen for a festival everyone wanted to take part in!!
I would have never done something like couchsurfing before erasmus and this is the last prove that "once erasmus, forever erasmus". I'm still at my first experience and I loved immediately the spirit many people demonstrate and the involvement! So I think I wanna get more involved as well a start traveling using couchsurfing ;D
I'm also open to host, but I know I live in a really isolated part of Italy :( maybe I'll be soon in Milan and so I'll reconsider it!!
Interests
"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing"
Being interest in something, constantly feeling that there is something more to discover is my first and last interest!!
There's not topic that doesn't deserve attention!
I'm a psychologist (work in progress actually) and I'll hopefully follow my studies in cognitive science. I love that my passions let me find a compromise between my strongly rational way of thinking and the fascine of things that cannot be explained.
Being active and live a dynamic live is very important (afraid it is something that I inherited from the city I study in, Milan). For this reason I love sport: i played semipro volleyball for more than an entire decade of my life. Now I'm doing gym and I always get the occasion to do something else during my holidays, like hiking, climbing, iron paths, ...
I love hang out and have crazy parties; however my ideal evening usually consists in drinking something with my friends and talk all around a table (maybe ending up with that shameful game, "never have I ever")
So, I'm not the party animal but I'm always in the spirit for a good crazy night, particularly if people around me are in it as well ;)
And what about a good movie? That's really the best. And I love horror and thriller movies, and all those films that are able to tell something more that just a story and u need to watch twice and the u get so addicted that start zapping on the Web to find the "movie explained"
Book are prolly even more interesting for me!
What else? Music, drinks, travel, concerts, food (good one), informatics, video games (I have little nerd corner in my personality), drawing (it's another thing that deserves a paragraph actually, but I'll leave it here cos I cannot talk about my drawing really), and more that I forgot, and more that I don't know yet!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really have sort of alternative tastes for music and movies.
The xx, aurora, the cinematic orchestra, thirty seconds to Mars, African music, .... I don't really know if there is a name for this gender of music ;) but I like it, anyway.
Movies: horror and thriller films. Mystery and allegory, all those that u keep watching for years!! Those movies that you're watching and u think you're getting the story, but in the end a final revelation, an epiphany, I final event change everything and u end in a loud and enthusiastic "AAAAH".
inception, cloud atlas, the hours, the grudge, then hell rising, 300, donnie Darko, star wars memento, the hitchhiking guide of galaxy! I can really talk for days about them...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Looking back to say something spectacular to write here :/
I think that I've never experienced nothing more astonishing and suggestive thank reaching the top of a mountain after hours of climbing, exhausted and broken, with some cuts all over you legs (yeah, I'm not a professional climber so some incidents are likely), but simply in peace with yourself.
