Overview
About Me
Hard to describe one's self in few lines, it is sometimes misleading.
Let's try though: I'm someone with a yogic way of life. Though graduated as a dentist and now doing mainly orofacial surgery, I'm interested more and more in holistic medicine. Now based in beautiful Prague, but originally I come from mountainous region called High Tatras, Slovakia that I will always love deeply.
I'm an open-minded person, a questionner (sometimes thinking too much about things) and I like to challenge myself. Also I can't sit still, there's always something to do, explore, improve therefore lately I have been learning to JUST BE.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I thinks it's another (and great way) to get to know the area I'm travelling to - through people living there as we humans always think in stories, not facts. I like to meet new people I normally wouldn't in my everyday life and listen/exchange opinions and ideas.
I hosted once in my parent's house back home - a group of young people cycling around Europe. And I was hosted twice, both very pleasant experience.
Interests
Yoga as a physical, spiritual and mental practice, in other words - as a way of life. I'm deeply grateful to it for many things.
Forest trips and walks with our dog, and also training him - wasn't my interest until a year ago.
Any other sports - depending on the weather and my mood (cross-country skiing, trail-running, bike camping)
Books of course.
Dentistry and oral surgery stuff.
Painting with watercolours, architecture and arts in general.
Good coffee and dark chocolate.
Knitting
