Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as easy going, energetic, most of the time in a good mood and always up for a good laugh.
Born and raised in Thun, Switzerland - I was blessed to grow up in the environment that you most probably know from postcards of Switzerland.
Mountains: check
Cows: check
Tons of chocolate & cheese: check
But please do not expect me to "Jodel"(special kind of swiss chanting) - Unfortunately, I'm a bad singer ;)
Since 2003 I have been working in the online industry and have lived or longer stayed in some European countries like Germany, England & Holland.
In 2016 I quit my corporate job to travel the world while working as a digital product & user experience consultant in self-employment. Furthermore, I want to use my skills for something good, therefore I am involved in some sustainability projects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
In the good old 90ties I enjoyed going to the big raves in the warehouses listening to trance and hardcore music. Electronic music today is still a genre I really like, but nowadays, I am very open minded and can literary listen to anything from the rough techno to Enrique Iglesias to Deutscher Schlager - the people and the atmosphere the music is enjoyed in and feeling the good vibes is the important thing.
My favorite book is from Paulo Cohelo - The Alchemist. It touched me in many ways and the Arabic word the book is referring I have a tattoo.
The best movie of all time and absolutely not reached by anything else that ever was before or came afterward - The Matrix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Living in a shared flat with 29 other flatmates for 5 years
- Stepping out of the comfort zone
