About Me

I hate writing About Me section because it always ends up sounding like an AA meeting, I've got nothing against it of course, you do what you gotta do my friend, but I'm so fed up with dry presentations of one self but ok, I'll give it a go...

So, I guess you already know I'm Italian, and that's awesome, isn't it? Man, Italy is so good, I mean it, I love my country, it is so controversial that if you learn to live in Italy you can live anywhere else. We say the same thing about our old and beloved Fiat Panda, once you learn how to drive it you could easily pilot a plane.
Anyway, I'm really enjoying myself here.
Italy's good, great, awesome. I don't care what you say, I know that when you're drunk with your friends and talking about God and stuff you probably end up talking about italian politics and the Pope and the garbage in our cities and Berlusconi and, obviously, how much you'd like a pizza in that precise moment, I know and it's okay, my friend. Really, Italy sucks at so many things but despite it all, it's still one of the best countries in the world. And I love it.

However I live in Germany.
Twist in the tale, boom.
Yeah, I do, I live in Germany since September 2015. I'm studying at the university in Freiburg, full time, so I'm going to spend 3 years (probably more, you know how these things go) here. And it's amazing. You should visit Freiburg, it's so good and chill out and open. If you'll ever need to take a break and breathe come to Freiburg, it's worth it. I know what most of the people think of Germany. And it's not true. Germany's good for you.

so, what else...
Can I go to the other sections yet?

Ok, maybe I could tell you about my family, which is great, big family, 8 people, we all live together with 3 dogs, don't know how many cats, 2 turtles and a granny. It's disfunctional like every good family is, my mum works too much, my daddy doesn't work anymore cause the economy is shit, my sister studies in Bologna (Bologna is awesomeeee), my aunt is a teacher and a nun (the cool type) and my cousins are like two older brothers for me.

ok, good, I think we have enough here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I gotta be honest in this one, money is a bit of a problem and couchsurfing is cheaper than hotels!
But hey, obviously I like to meet new people and see new homes and enjoy a city with the locals, I'm tired of being just a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

If you talk to me passionately about your favourite genre or your favourite songs, bands, singers, songwriters, composers, djs, producers, whatever I promise I'll give it a go and I will probably like it. I couldn't live without music, if someone were to ban it and only the theme song of Dora The Explorer were available I would listen to it. All fucking day.
When I was 8 I started to take piano lessons and never stopped, I'm not an incredible player, but I like writing my own songs, I like singing and playing, I like listening to someone who plays better than I do, I like playing when I'm sad, I like playing when I'm bored, I like playing when I should be studying, I like playing when I'm angry. If you play an instrument please please please play me something.

Movies. I've got a list. A pretty long list of movies I've seen and liked and I'd love to share it. Oh, and right now I'm in the middle of making a short movie of my own. In Germany I'm studying Media Sciences and I did a course of Film production and postproduction. It was so good!

Unfortunately I'm not a very good reader. Of course I read every single one of the Harry Potter books like 5 times, but Harry Potter is Harry Potter. Can't help myself. I'd read them all again a thousand times. Anyway, if you know some good books I should read, I would really like to try and become a better reader.
