ABOUT ME

Hi ! My name is Martina, I'm almost twenty one (not anymore actually!). Half Belgian and Half Italian I've lived in Belgium and spent most of my holidays in Italy visiting my father's family. I'm now in my third year of médicine (after ending my bachelor in médicine, I decided to change orientation and began criminolgy which I am currently ending).
I love a lot of things, mostly movies, music, theatre, playing footbal (soccer actually) and Nutella ;) I've always loved Great landscape and travelling, but this year one of my roomates was a total travel-addict and she got me into it ! :) I can't wait to visit new places and meet new people !
I must probably say that I'm terribly afraid of animals...

I haven't hosted yet neither couchsurfed, but the roomate I told you about earlier hosted couchsurfers at our place so I got the occasion to meet some couchsurfers, and I really enjoyed it !

Music, Movies, and Books

To begin with the begining: My favourite Disney's are The Lion King and Pocahontas,
I don't have a favourite movie, but lately I really enjoyed watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, the landscapes were unbelivable and woke up my desire of travel ! I also really loved 'Mud', 'Goodmorning England', 'Inside Llewyn Davis' and 'To Rome with Love'!

For the moment, studying I like having Mumford and Son, The Tallest Man on Earth, Passenger, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Coco Rosie, Of Monsters and Men, Vance Joy, and others in my ears (I also go for some Burberry Acoustic Session or a playlist from the Channel Ont'Sofa:)) but I also love listening to my parents' music (Pink Floyd, Queen, Dire Stait, Francesco De Gregori, Bob Marley ...), my grand parents' music (Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, ...) and why not to my great parents' music (it must be Charleston, right?)

I'm not a big reader, ... I loved Harry Potter and Hunger Games, does it count?

I'd love to learn new languages !!
Currently, my goal is to learn spanish (I bought learn-book, movies and so, but I haven't started yet)
So many other things I'd love to learn ... Guitar first of all ! (I played piano for 6 years and Saxo during 2 but I forgot all about it ... :/),
I don't really know what I could teach you, but there must be a thing!
