ABOUT ME

I am a twenty-one years old girl who has moved from Genoa to Milan to study International Cooperation . Here I discovered a city full of opportunities and open- minded , the perfect place to follow my dream .
In the last years I have travelled in several countries in Europe and it start to be addicting: now I feel the need to stay on the movement, even if I'm divided between the love for nature and a fascination for metropolis. Last summer I was in Burkina Faso for an internship: I travelled from Ouagadogou to Bobo-Dioulasso to follow a cooperation project, and I hope to do a similar thing this summer, maybe in Asia or South America. In Burkina I have met a lot of extraordinary people, and each of them has taught to me something: crossing the barriers, in my opinion, is the best thing of travelling.
My friends describe me like an indipendent, courious and positive person. I like a lot (tooooo much!) talking and sharing experiences with other people, trying to develop a meaningful relationship.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want surf, I travel alone or with my friends. At the present moment I can't host, but I hope to do it soon. Anyway I'm avaiable to a coffee out of the roads for turists: Milan is a very beautiful city, you just have to discover it.

MUSIC: I love rap music and ska, as well as rock and many italian songwriters.
BOOKS (authors): London, Gaiman, Rowling, Sepúlveda, Nafisi, Hemingway, Terzani, Cacucci, Whitman, Darwish, Rimbaud. Recently I've fixed myself on graphic novels and graphic jornalism: I love Satrapi, Thompson, Sacco, Spiegelman, Costantini and Archer.
MOVIES: The motorcycle diaries, The last samurai, Tarantino's, The Fifth Estate, Star Wars and Harry Potter saga, Disney movies like Mulan, Aladdin, Frozen, The Lion King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled with my scout group by bike through the Rivers Route, from Passau to Vienna, and along the way I swam in Danube.
During my internship in Burkina a group of military have made a coup, so I have made a crazy travel through the country to reach the international airport of Ouagadogou.
But the most emotional thing in my life is when I saw the dawn on the Monviso: wonderful!
