About Me
CURRENT MISSION
“Live as if each day can be the last day of your life”
ABOUT ME
I currently live and study in Stockholm, finishing my Master´s in Social Work. Since my freelance work gives me a lot of flexibility, I enjoy traveling a lot and it is definitely my favorite thing to do. I´m also a language-geek, a more or less successful cook/baker, amateur photographer and a cat lover. I enjoy discovering new places, meeting all kinds of people and sharing stories and experience.
PHILOSOPHY
âTo awaken quite alone in a strange town is one of the pleasantest sensations in the world.â â Freya Stark
âWhen we get out of the glass bottle of our ego and when we escape like the squirrels in the cage of our personality and get into the forest again, we shall shiver with cold and fright. But things will happen to us so that we donât know ourselves. Cool, unlying life will rush in.â â D. H. Lawrence
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spread the Couchsurfing idea and get my friends involved. I also volunteered and donated :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven´t couchsurfed for some time now but I hosted a lot of couchsurfers in my earlier flat and did a lot of couchsurfing around Europe. Some of the people I met through Couchsurfing remained my good friends and we keep in touch and meet and unofficially couchsurf at each other´s places.
Interests
Art, books, movies, music, museums, anything Swedish, traveling, photography, cooking... well, it´s a long list :)
I love lifechanging experiences that might sometimes be present in the simplest of things in life. Chatting over wine or tea is definitely one of my favorite past times. And I have an obsession with bookstores, cliffs and bridges :)
