About Me
ABOUT ME
I've got a terrible case of wanderlust. Instead of getting homesick, I get "awaysick." Immersion and adventure travel are my preference. Local culture, local people, local charities, I like to take it all in. If there's a way to give back to the community I always jump on the opportunity. The last 10 years of my life have been spent working in the music industry, which was my passion. Now, I'm embarking on an adventure to discover new things, and do a bit of soul searching along the way as I decide what I want to do next.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A desire to see and experience the world through the eyes of the local people, instead of from the top of a tour bus.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am quite terrible at picking favorite, and I tend to find the merit in everything. I'll list one thing, then say 10 more. The only book I've met that I didn't like was a statistics text book, otherwise, my insatiable curiosity leads me to love anything. As a musician myself, and someone who has worked in the industry for a decade, I can't choose just one genre to love. Gifted singers, pianists and guitarists always pique my interest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent time working with local orphanages in Nicaragua, in the memory of my cousin who passed away doing volunteer work at the age of 16.
Teach, Learn, Share
The insatiable curiosity I mentioned before equate to a love of learning everything. Language, culture, skills, I'm a student of life. Teaching also brings me joy. Happy to share anything I know, whether is be english, concert production, computer basics, a bit of piano, US politics and culture.
