Über mich
Hello everybody,
I'm a 25 years old italian girl currently living in Jena, Germany.
I like studying different languages because this helps me to explore other mentalities and understanding people. I find so beautiful to get to know a new and completely different culture from mine!
I love France and french culture in general (its literary, philosophical, historical background), and I wish I could live in France one day.
I'm a very outgoing person and I love making new friends from all over the world! :) I've been hanging around with many foreign friends while studying at the university in Turin, and I'm still in contact with almost all of them.
I am openminded, polite and very curious: I love listening to what people have to tell - that's why I often make a lot of questions.
Every new story told by a new person can make us richer.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I've been hosted by a german guy and his girlfriend while I was coming back to Potsdam after the Christmas holiday, and I really enjoyed my stay in München. They were such nice people and I truly appreciated the way they made sure my best friend and I had everything we needed.
Then I decided that it was time for me to do the same: now that I live in a big and quite cosy flat, I also have enough space for one or two other people.
I am interested in sharing my erasmus experience with a lot of people, and even if you just come and stay at mine for a few days, we can chat and go out for a beer and visit the city.
Then I'm obviously interested in helping people to travel without wasting too much money. Since I also love traveling, I understand what it means to save money. ;)
Interessen
As I wrote above, I love reading and writing, that it what I'd like to do in my future.
In my free time I love visiting new places - also by myself, there's nothing more exciting than getting lost and finding new streets and squares you wouldn't see otherwise - or hanging out with friends. I also like museums and arts - that's why I wanted to live as close as possible to such a big city like Berlin.
When the weather is nice, I also like jogging and walking around, and here in Potsdam - as in my home town - it's so lovely as there are a lot of big parks.
I listen to different genres of music: rock, jazz, classical, but when I go out at night I absolutely prefer choosing an electro music club. I've been to some of the best in Berlin and I'm looking forward to trying many others.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I couldn't live without books!
Among my favorite books there are certainly "1984" by G. Orwell, "Zeno's Conscience" ("La coscienza di Zeno") by the italian author I. Svevo and a book that almost nobody knows but that tells one of the best love stories ever read, "Love life", by R. Kluun.
I love cinema too, and I especially enjoy watching Neorealism and Nouvelle Vague movies.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I think my Erasmus experience deserves to be written here. :)
I'm learning a lot about Germany and german people, I'm taking the distance from what I've been doing for all my life in order to learn how to be part of this other country. There are always difficulties, but I feel I'm growing up and this is exactly what I was aiming at when I decided to go on Erasmus.
I hope I'll get the chance to experience more in the future, so that I'll have a lot to tell you about when we meet. :)
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I can teach you how to live as an italian: life is so beautiful and food is a priority! :D
I am always ready to learn: different ideas and backgrounds are the best start to grow up and open your mind.
We can share some good moments in two beautiful cities such as Potsdam and Berlin, and you can meet my amazing friends here.
