Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do what makes us happy.
ABOUT ME
We are both easy going people, Martin is a particularly gregarious guy and Harriet is a little bit quieter but both like to spend time getting to know new people, seeing new places and experiencing new things. We are both open to new cultures and feel you can get the best experiences from the most random people and situations.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel broadens the horizons, expands the mind and is FUN!
'Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about dancing in the rain'.
'If you've never stared off into the distance then your life is a shame'.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment just couch surfing, in the future (when we finally stay in one place long enough) we would love to offer a couch to someone in need!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have only couch surfed a few of times but found it to be a great experience, we had a great time with our hosts and found them to be the most open and generous people. We had so much fun getting to know them and seeing the city we were in through their eyes.

Walking some of the Great Wall of China, becoming a dive master, becoming a cave guide, conserving turtles in Greece, swimming with Whale Sharks, watching the sun rise over Bromo in Java, spending a night with gypsies in the Himalayas, discussing the upcoming election with members of the democratic party in Burma in a local hill tribe house the night before the election...that's more than one but how do you choose?!
