Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Martin. I grew up in the mountains of tyrol (kitzbühel to be precise) but now I live and study in Vienna.
I am a pretty upbeat dude, just trying to follow my biggest passions in life (writing, activism, hip-hop, poetry, meditation).
I just love to EXPAND, be wild (or sometimes really calm), move my mind, shake my body, shake things up and find out what the hell is going on in this weird world of ours.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why would I pay for the solitude of some sterile hotelroom when I can meet locals and immerse myself in new worlds, other people's realities and meet awesome people in their "habitat"?
:)
We might just end up sharing a mindblowing conversation and CHANGE THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD! Okay, I'm kidding, but maybe ...?
For now it's cool if we just have some fun.
Interests
My greatest love is writing (mainly stories), but I just love playing with language in general. I am interested in how language, codes and symbols alter and influence our consciousness and perception and regard myself as standing in a long tradition of alchemists, shamans, bards and poets that did just that. How does a single word, a single sentence, make our entire nervous system/brain/world/universe change?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've put on my socks today.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a good cook and I'd love to share some of that knowledge, or just sharing time in the kitchen. I can talk endlessly about writing, meditation, society systems, ecology and social freedom, but I mostly enjoy listening to stories.
I think that's what we learn the most from. Learning about the world, the way people life their lives and sharing our real experience.
Been practicing a special kind of authentic Qi Gong for about a year now, which I'm happy to share.
