About Me

ABOUT ME

Again the hardest task at first:-) Perhaps you should better consult the references... Well, I'm doing my best to be smiling, helpful, reliable.

PHILOSOPHY

If you truly want to achieve something and you work really hard, you'll manage!
I hope there is a universal set of values that we are converging to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just very good or excellent! I'm really glad that I was introduced to CouchSurfing. It's an amazing community with many open-minded, friendly and interesting people enthusiastic about traveling, language-learning and getting to know other people.
Update? I am referring to people I met through CS, not to the website itself and its management, my opinion about it changed very dramatically over time, from positive, to very negative.

Interests

Languages (trying to keep the number correlated with the two final digits of the year:-), physics (more deeply:-) and other, not merely natural sciences (on a more popular level), literature (historical fiction, classic, popular science), Chinese calligraphy, sports, dancing (social dancing, salsa), traveling, music (guitar), recently mountain trail running and polyphasic sleeping!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One year of Erasmus studies in Berlin, changed my life in many ways.

Hitchhiking 4500km through Russia, 5 days and 4 nights non-stop

Three weeks of 15,5 to 17,5 hours of working every day while holidaying in Ireland for one month (survived:-)

Spending the night close to the famous ancient Appian Way in Rome, in a heap of hay.

One intensive year in India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to improve myself in your native language; I can provide you with explanations on Czech grammar & co. with pleasure. As for other languages, I can supply you with valuable resources and hints how to learn them.

I'd be happy for any good book/movie/web-page recommendations...

And I would be really glad to learn how to cook your meals.
