ABOUT ME

I was born in Cancun, Mexico and lived there for 13 years before moving to the US where I currently live and go to college. My experience moving and living in a different country has taught me the value of learning from other cultures. From the food, to the greetings, to the traditions and customs, every place on earth has something to offer. So why settle only for one place? I want to go out meet people, talk, eat, observe, and learn from everyone and every place I come across. I have a passion for learning languages and I am currently challenging myself with Chinese. I don't claim to be good at all, but its always rewarding to understand a word here and there. I consider myself a friendly and open-minded guy, but that is up for people to decide. I try to be as open and honest with people as I can and I'm not afraid to say what I like and don't like. I am also passionate about food waste and the environment, which I hope to address by pursuing a degree in Architecture.

PHILOSOPHY

I recently read a book by Viktor E. Frankl called "Man's Search For Meaning" while on a 24 hour train ride and this phrase stuck out the most. "Live as if you were living already for the second time and as if you had acted the first time as wrongly as you are about to act now."
