About Me

German Med student here, nearing the end of my studies faster than I'd like to - to push my first job as a doctor further into the future, I am currently living in New York for a year of research in neuroscience.

I've spent two years of school in India and since then discovered my love for traveling and getting to know new people - so many more places should follow! I'd describe myself as down to earth, openhearted and genuine, most of the time cheerful and funny and sometimes a bit quiet and absorbed in thought. Definitely easy to live with and always open for new things to venture! Music is essential to me and I love to play the cello which has accompanied me through all stations of my life so far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because only staying at one place is boring, just as hotels are. I enjoy getting to know people and couldn't live without the inspiring conversations that tend to spark up with international friends.

Interests

In my spare time I run, cycle, do yoga, windsurfing or bouldering, and I like to contrast fizzy everyday life by meditating from time to time. I play the cello and love going to concerts, theatres and cinemas and I am a passionate listener of classical and jazz music. I try to keep up with politics (even though I blatantly fail at that and am way behind all the stuff that's happening), and enjoy meeting up with friends, spend evenings at bars or just walk through the streets and see what comes along. During Summer, I couldn't live without the nearby lake.
