About Me

ABOUT ME

Graduated university with more questions than answers, I'm traveling to see new places and the perspectives of those who live there. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

PHILOSOPHY

"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had the pleasure of surfing so far and had nothing but fantastic experiences. I've met some amazing people full of incredible stories and can't wait to know more. Couchsurfing has been an interesting way to see the vibrant inner workings of a country and I'm addicted!

Interests

I find speaking to people about what they find most passionate fascinating, so I guess you could say I have an interest for interests.

I enjoy running, climbing, hiking and almost everything else done outdoors. I love taking in new skills and knowledge, from history to languages. I've recently delved into politics, computer programing and superheroes, and can't seem to find enough time in the day to do it all!

Music, Movies, and Books

To condense this section, imagine a list that fills the area of a triangle whose borders are:

Music: J Cole + Calle 13 + 30 Seconds to Mars

Books: Motorcycle Diaries + His Dark Materials + Looking for Alaska

Movies: Space Jam + Shutter Island + Detachment

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was graced with the amazing experience of teaching a 6 year old girl how to snorkle. With her little hands in mine and her eyes locked onto my own, she somehow found it in her to trust me enough to take a breath with her head below the water.

No seaside sunset or summit sunrise has ever compared.

We were then attacked by jellyfish. Those darn jellyfish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've played classical piano for many years and enjoy strumming away to simple tunes on the guitar. I like cooking all types of food, particularly Indian, Caribbean, and Mexican, although I still have much to learn. Lastly, I love sharing what I know and teaching others things they have an interest for.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Czech Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, French Guiana, Germany, Greece, Guyana, Honduras, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
