ABOUT ME

We both have finshed our education and are back home after a year of amazing travelling. We have seen some wonderful places and met great people and are now enjoing to be home and working again. I never thought that you could get tired of travelling but after a year it is nice to have a routine again. I have 2 Jobs doing my Phd in Psychology at Uni and organizing running events and Martin is working as a mechanic.
That are the basics the rest you have to find out your self ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far we only had one. But it was all everybody was talking about fun, a new culture and the best way to meet locals!!

Interests

Meeting new peolpe, cultures, get to know more about the world.
And of course sports for Martin like volleyball, wind surfing, pool... and what ever he finds time for
Eva running, reading books, hiking or meeting friends anything that does not involve sitting infront of a computer (do that all day at work)

Music, Movies, and Books

we have met so many new people along the road and everybody shares some music with us. so we have the cat empire from OZ, Kora from NZ and Reggae from Fiji to just name something and not to forget all the things that friends at home put on our ipod. It changes all the time ... the same for books and movies but every now and then we find a book/movie that we both agree on like Jostein Gardner books or Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have to say we have seen many beautiful places but we try a little list:
best island in Europe: Corsica (good wind for windsurfing)
best city: florence or london (depends on the weather)
as we are sitting here in front of the computer it gets harder and harder to decide what of the beautiful places are worth mentioning... well... devils marbels (OZ) bryce canyon, crater lake (USA) and NYC are definitly in the top 10.
But for us the most importend point is even if it sound a bit pathetic time is what you make of it!!! We had a car breaktdown only 150km a way from home it was still a great holiday we just had to walk a lot!!
