Overview
About Me
I'm Swiss in my mind but Argentinian in my heart. I lived in Mendoza, Argentina, for three years in total and moved back to Switzerland in July 2013 together with my husband Nico.
Next to my family and friends, traveling is one of the most important subjects in my life as I am either traveling myself or - as a travel agent - organizing travels for my clients. So every day of my life, it is all about traveling.
I really like languages and would love to get several ones to a mother tongue level sometime - that's a life task, but I'm working on it. My Spanish is practically there, first goal achieved, uhuuu! Also, I really like photography so my camera is my travel accessory number 1. I am a happy, easy-going and curious person and I would say that you can find almost always a smile on my face.
MY TOP 5 OF GREAT SAYINGS:
Doch was tut man dazwischen? (Alexander Roda Roda)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is a great way to meet people who are just like you are yourself - people who love to travel and are interested in getting to know new cultures, share experiences and make friends all over the world. Through Couchsurfing you not only get to know the touristy side of the places you visit and as a host you got the chance to people a home far away from their home. So it is a win-win situation :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read good books and try to make time for reading whenever I can, but there are so many great books that it is just impossible to name my favorite ones. Same thing happens with music and especially movies - Nico and I love to go to the cinema and watch lots of different things, but I really can't say: that's the best movie ever. Too many choices!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Uuff, lots! The time I spent in Argentina - not only found a second home, but also the love of my life. My first travel to Southamerica - my host family in Peru felt like a real one. Also, travelling by Transsibirian Railway from Moscow to Beijing was overwhelming.
In general I can say that as long as I am travelling, I am happy and do and see amazing things all the time.
