ABOUT ME

I am looking forward to finish my BA in The History of Thought / Ideas at the Uni of Oslo. The last two semesters I spent an Der Humboldt Universität der Berlin, and the next one (and also the last) will be spent in Oslo and at The Norwegian Institute in Rome. After that, i might go to Brazil to visit a good friend of mine and learn Portoguese for some months.

Berlin was addictive. I guess i needed the break from it now - the cool norwegian summer is a sobering antidote - but i will go back there.

Meanwhile I will look into music again. It is now 4 years ago since i gave up my music studies, and the idea of becoming a jazz saxophonist. I have started to play around with the horn again lately, but this time my hand recorder and my laptop are as important as the self-produced sounds.

The idea of going to Brazil contains of course the wish for to "get the rythm into the body" as well. I have been playing some kongas before, but this time i want to get the intuition of these beats, and not only in the hands.

兴趣

Music, dancing and other things that anımates the body. I lıke hıkıng and hıtchhıkıng + unexpected turns and surprises. Since recently i love to go rock climbing, and since ever, tree climbing and riding my bycyckle. I lıke to spend several days doıng nothıng but readıng, and ı lıke spendıng several days not readıng anythıng at all.I love sounds, and enjoy lıstenıng to sound art and radıo dokumentarıes. When I hear a sound that I lıke, sometımes I record ıt.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A short story of the ten day long start of the best summer of my lıfe: I was wrıtıng my last and least prepared fınal, and went out of thıngs to wrıte about allready after 2,5 hours. I had to delıver one hour before the gıven 4 ours were over anyway, ın order to catch my traın. It took me to Dhamma Sobhana Vıpassana Center close to Jönköpıng ın Sweden. There I learned the Vıpassana technıque, and spent 10 ın sılent medıtatıon. Tell you more about ıt later...
