My name is Martin and I am originally from Czech Republic. Currently I am exploring the world as Erasmus student in Belgium.

If there is one thing that should describe me, it's my crazy sense for humour. I love humour and jokes, in all kinds and forms. Yes for some people it might seem stupid, but rather be stupid than boring.

My Erasmus experience opened my eyes, it pushed me out my comfort zone and showed me all the nationalities. I cannot describe that feeling, but meeting new people from other cultures is somehow addictive.

I have plenty of friends who were telling me about couchsurfing for a looong time, I guess it's finally time for me to try it out.

Communication and its all aspects. And I also love helping people to overcome their communication barriers, tu push themselves and explore their better self as long as I have been there myself, struggling and being shy.

My other passion is reading. I lost count of how many book I've read. If the book interests me, I can finish it in 2 days.

Last but not least I love music. It somehow gives me energy like nothing else. If there is opportunity to visit club with good music, I'm in!

Music - there is no "the one" style I would prefer all the time, my choice of music depends on many aspects. I like exploring new bands and artists. However, most of the time I might find me listening to electronic or oldschool rock music :)

Favourite movie? No debate - Star Wars saga. That's just classics.

My Erasmus exchange. I cannot describe how life changing this whole thing is for me. Put into simply words I feel like I was living my whole life in a box and suddenly someone took me out and showed me the world in true colors.

As long as I am currently on exchange program in Belgium and living in school residence, accepting guests is a bit complicated. I have no spare couch to offer now. But if you text me, we might figure something out so feel free :)

What do you know about Czech Republic? Prague? But Czech is not only Prague, I can tell you and show much more of the Czech culture. Do you fancy a Czech dish, we might try not to burn the kitchen down and cook something :P
