About Me

I like to have conversations on many different topics, I specially love talks about philosophy, psycology, spirituallity, politics, economy, life experiences and much more. I also like music, I play guitar and sing. I have studied political science and sociology and I am interested in how people from different parts of the world socially and economically organize. I am deeply curious about local cultural backgrounds: social rituals, local customs, and specially food! Recently I have been studing to become a cook and I am keen on preparing some tradicional dishes from Argentina!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet people from all over the world, hoping to make new friends. When I am travelling I like to get involved with local people: to know what they do in a normal day, what they do to have fun, what are their views regarding social organization in their country, what are their goals and dreams, if they have travel experiences and also have the chance to talk to them about mine experiences. Given that I like food and music I would like to taste local food and hear local music. Indeed, I would like to cook traditional dishes from Argentina and sing a couple of songs from my country.

Interests

I love playing guitar and singing. Love to taste different kinds of food and love to have long conversations about philosophical, psicology and spiritual topics. I really like Carl Jung's work and I am involved with the teachings of Gurdjieff. Also love to do practices (I don't actually know how to do them, but rather hear about them) on astrology and tarot. What I really DO know is to cook. I can cook from first course dishes to desserts and I am quite good in making pizzas.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite album of all time is Lateralus from progessive metal band Tool. I also like electronic music, specially Todd Terje. Another album that brings me a lot of peace is Agaetis Byrjun from Sigur Ros. Regarding books I love Herman Hesse's work, I think that "The Steppenwolf" is a book that really touched me and left me an important lesson in life. On the other hand, I also love Philip K. Dick sci-fi novel's and classic distopian books such as 1984 and Brave New World are within my favourites. Cinematically speaking, I like Jubrick's films and also am a anime fan, within my favourites are: Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Evangelion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I visited Bolivia I did a 3 hour bike descent that was called "The death tour". It was quite risky and exciting!! In Peru, when I did the ascention to "Wayna Pichu" - which is the a mountain where you can get a panoramical view of Machu Pichu - running. I really don't from where I got the oxygen to do that (it is really a high place).

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach Spanish to anyone who would like. Also I can explain how to made trully tasty home-made bread, pizza and pasta. I would like to share my life and travel experiences and also hear about life and travel experiences from the hosts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer deep long conversations in the topics that I mentioned before. I am a tidy, neat person. I can also offer some entertainment with my guitar and songs. Additionally, I can cook from saly food, to bakery and desserts!!
