About Me

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Can Tho, a peaceful city in Mekong River delta in Vietnam. I spent 22 years in my hometown before arriving to Toulouse for studying. Currently, I'm living in Brussels for one of the longest projects of my life.

As a stubborn guy, I attempt to achieve the goal I've planned.
Discovering new places, language and new culture are my favorites. Meeting people is a best way to learn, to know and to live.

To sum up:
"I am just a poor boy.
Though my stories seldom told,
I have squandered my resistance
For a pocketful of mumbles"

PHILOSOPHY

Openminded, optimistic.
Nothing you cannot do, just the way how can you do it!

"Lorsqu’une porte de bonheur se ferme, une autre s’ouvre automatiquement. Souvent tu regardes si longtemps la porte fermée que tu ne vois pas celle qui a été ouverte pour toi"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know CS from a friend. And by this site, I have had chances to meet and make friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and met some surfers, and this was a chance to have new ideas, overcome to my comfort zone. And I am considered as a polite guest as well!

Interests

I love music, cooking and of course eating. For leisure time, I like jogging or playing badminton.

Although I'm a law student but I have a great passion with languages, and I want to discover more and more languages as possible.

My big dream will be traveling around the world and enjoying every single moment in each place I've seen.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have the passion with music but not really with metal rock. Just the melody comes, and I may fall in love with this.

I don't consider myself as a bookworm, but I love reading. It should be my pleasure and I get the motivation after reading interesting books. Ex: Au revoir là-haut, The Rainbow Troops, Còn chút gì để nhớ, La part de l'autre...

I don't watch a lot of new movies so do not have much idea about music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Under the heat around 40 C, I passed by Can Tho bridge with a French and his broken motorbike (one of the biggest cable-stayed bridge over the Hậu River, the largest distributary of the Mekong River). That was "awful"!!!

The winter of 2013, first time ever in my life, I was trying skiing with my friends. That was cool and speechless!

12 cities, 2 towns, 5 countries and 30 days wandering in Europe after finishing my master's degree.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurfing is not only a place for getting more friends but also you can learn from your new friends.

I don't know what to teach but I can share my stories, my experience in my hometown or the city I have lived.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've hosted and guided people when I was in Can Tho, my hometown. I recognize that CS is a non-profit place, where we offer and show to people from five coins in the world how amazing your place. That's not how much you could earn but that are amazing experiences you gain.

Actually, I'm staying in Brussels, not my hometown by I can guide you to places where I knew, or we may discover hidden spaces in the capital of Europe.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, Slovakia, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
