Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very much into electronic and hardcore hip-hop these days. I like blues a lot too. I also enjoy classical and jazz music. I must say I really don't like Metal and Ska. The music I might enjoy the most though is traditional music from whichever country or culture.

It's difficult to choose one or even a couple movies. The Matrix (the first one) comes to mind. The Godfather too. I'm a big fan of Darren Aronofsky. Very recently I liked the Scottish movie: Starred Up. A little less recently, the movie Drive comes to mind.

As for books, the old man and the sea sparked my love of reading. I loved Animal Farm and 1984. Dune is also a great book. Lewis Carroll is great. Hermann Hesse also. I'm sure I'm forgetting many, many great books. Right now I'm reading Samarcande from Amin Maalouf.

I also like watching and reading non-fiction. That's what I consume the most actually. I love listening to history podcasts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn just about anything. Particularly languages. I'm currently learning Mandarin, and I'd also like to get the basics (for a start) for Turkish and Farsi.

I know and I have coached Ultimate (frisbee). I know biology. I would love to teach french or english. I am also very knowledgeable in health and nutrition.
