I'm quite friendly, and I expect a lot of my friends. Of course, I am willing to go a long way for my friends too!

I love languages and cultures. And I try to see the unexpected side of common things. To me, going to the supermarket in a foreign country is an adventure in itself!

Usually I like better to stay and get to know the people and the surroundings of where I go than to move around sightseeing... I guess you can call me boring too ;)

One of my best features is that I'm always willing to listen to others and offer my bit of advice. In any language I know!

PHILOSOPHY

Well... I think most issues between people have to do with communication. Problems may rise, but usually discussing them can lead to a solution.
I try to be respectful with other people and their feelings. BUT I also try to be clear if I think something is not ok...
Ummm, I guess I try to be a good friend for my friends, and a nice neighbor to anyone else ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been great. I really appreciate the possibility of meeting people from all over the world. (And of course, it's nice to know that there is a real concern with safety for everyone.)
Most of all, I get a real feeling of community. CS is definitely much more than saving money in lodging!
I hope to be able to communicate that feeling to new members.

Interests

Wow... I am interested in almost anything I can think of. Specially arts. I studied a lot of years of music, and quite a bit of design too.
Right now I'm into crafts. With almost anything I get my hands on. I even try to fix the stuff at home... with success sometimes! ;)
A new hobby has obnubilated me lately: fiber crafts, spinning wool, and most related stuff: dyeing wool, making bouclé yarn, you name it...

People interest me a lot. I love listening to people's stories, experiences, etc. I don't always have the time, though...
Other interests? Mythology, astrology too (all the stuff with symbols fascinates me), playing musical instruments (not very well, but...), and a huge list of other stuff... Just ask :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It always strikes me how we keep overlooking amazing things just because they're too close to us, or we see them all the time. The people that surround us, the beautiful, common flowers in the street, the birds, the color of the sky, and such a lot of stuff.
And sure, we go to the extremes of the world to see the common world of others, which we find so exotic and striking...
:) And it is, of course!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am quite used at teaching stuff. I even make my (miserly) living teaching stuff to children.
I teach english, crafts, even computers to little children! It's sweet and I'm really thinking of not doing it anymore. :D
