About Me
In love with the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am CS member since 2014. I was curious whether CS is really so friendly and welcoming community as it was presented to me by other people. So far I have not couchsurfed that much and I have not hosted many people, but the experience agrees with the stories told to me by the other travelers. So far I have only unforgettable memories from couchsurfing in Iran, hosting people in Lisbon, Portugal and from taking a part on the meetings in Erlangen, Germany or Lisbon.
I would like to continue with CS and participate in this community more both as host and guest, to strengthen interpersonal and international relationships.
Interests
I’ve got many of them. And still counting
Let’s start with sport. I used to practice many sports during my life. I am a very movable person. The point for me is to enjoy the movement, your mates, fresh air and the environment. Now I’m stuck in running the most. Hopefully one day I will finish an ultra-marathon (distance > 42.195 km). So if you are a runner we'll probably get along and we can also discover the place by this activity what would be very beautiful experience I believe. I also practice a bit of yoga, bit of swimming, bit of everything..
I am fascinated by endurance sports and athletes doing crazy stuff not only for the results but especially if there is some deeper story behind their unbelievable performance. I still look also for my story. Maybe I’ll find it on the way.
Other interests I do not spend so much time doing them as I would like to are books (there will be more space for that activity on the journey), cooking (especially for and with somebody- I am looking forward to learn some new recipe and to share my ‘skills’), getting to know new music (and dance), coffee (oooh man...I love coffee so much, and now I will be in the countries where they produce A LOT of coffee!!).

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
Almost any kind. Nowadays it is more Slovak folk music and Slovak music in general. Mostly previous decades when in Slovakia was really good progressive and art- rock scene. From the foreign artists I like Pink Floyd, Cure, Radiohead, John Frusciante (especially the older albums, new are kind a heavy for me), Red Hot Chilly Papers.
I like also, as my girlfriend says, music without the words. It means the electronic music and drum and bass. There is so much great music in the world.. I would be really glad to share some tips on good music.
MOVIES
Forest Gump -- “What’s normal anyways?”
Darren Aronofsky’s movies (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream) and the picture of reality which leave a bug in my head at least for another three days
James Bond (and the English they speak)
Band of Brothers Series
BOOKS
Reading books is for me an activity by which I want to get more experience and knowledge. So I like to read facts and books focused on the person’s psychology and new ideas and effectiveness and so on. I like also poetry, but that I read only occasionally.
There is one book which changed my view on traveling and the lifestyle related to travel. This book is Vagabonding by Rolf Potts - book which gave me a lot for example it make me want to travel more and get a courage to make thinks a bit different.. I always recommend this book even if one does not want to travel.
