Hello to the world,
my name is Martje and I am traveling together with my friend Tabea for almost one year now.
We are two young girls from Germany, who decided to discover the world after finishing school last year.
Our journey started in New Zealand, where we spend 8 months having an amazing and exciting time backpacking around the country.
We made so many memories and met incredible people.
We are reliable, enthusiastic and easy-going persons. It's not difficult to make us happy. All we need is a place to sleep and good company.
We don't demand high standards.

Our great experiences with meeting other young people, who shared our love for traveling made us want to try couchsurfing in order to meet more people and especially locals.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Our whole time backpacking through New Zealand has been one of the best experiences we've ever made.
We spend over seven months sleeping in a station wagon and had a great time hiking and exploring New Zealand.
At the beginning of our trip we spent two and a half weeks at a helpx host family, where we worked in a small plant nursery in exchange for food and accommodation. That was one of the best experiences here, because we met a lovely family.
