My name is Martin. I'm a french journalist, and recently school teacher.

I was born in the north of France (Croix), and I always lived in the north of France (Lille).

I studied, after obtaining my baccalauréat literary, literature in general: two years in preparatory classes (classes which prepares students for the "Grandes Ecoles" entrance exams) in Lille, and one year in a university in Villeneuve d'Ascq where I obtained my : Licence of Literature. After spending one year in England (Hull) for my first year of Master in Litterature and Journalism, I completed it in Paris. I live now in Paris area where I'm a journalist and a school teacher.

I love music and dance: I actually took dance lessons for 7 years, before provided myself training courses during 2 years.
I also do horse riding since I am 6 years old.
I love to travel: I went two weeks in China in 2009. I went also in Tunisia, United States (California, Nevada, Arizona), Mexico and in many countries in Europe. I am also used to hitchhike across France.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To offer a place to stay (when I can) to all couchsurfers who wants and give advices about the city I live in.

Also to have the opportunity to be host anywhere in the world and meet extraordinary people.
