About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn to work as a linguistic researcher, then step aside for the new generation and teach in the university. While studying and learning: I wish not to stop doing this, ever!
ABOUT ME
I'd like to have a chance to break the barriers my culture taught me, and give a chance to everybody in front of me. I'd like to feel free to trust (that's a little bit utopian) and talk with everyone, and abandon stereotypes and fears. For this reason (and others) I joined the Free Hugs Campaign: this is my personal social and emotional revolution.
I'm extremely lazy (that's why my interests are sitting and pajamas-compatible!) and I suffer of elderly pains: "my back hurts, the humidity is killing me, we walked too long...".
Until summer comes: then I can visit cities running from a place to another, carry a huge backpack, stay awake until it's morning and sleep just a few hours.
I can't usually stand overcrowded places, I begin to feel the physical and inner need to have my space. Sometimes I acquire a bit of misanthropy. Though, I'm open and curious about all cultures and people, against discrimination of every kind, and, if in mood, solar. I'm capable to find happiness in everything, if I want to! Even to go to the local market and find cheap zucchini flowers. Here's a visual presentation (I just learned to use html so I have to show it out):
I'm an honest and trustful person, I can't even imagine why people can lie or betray me consciously. That's why I suffer very much when it happens.
Finally, I'm terribly lunatic without any sense!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm developing my personal philosophy right now! Although, we never cease to learn, so it's very difficult to find a personal philosophy while world, knowledge, and yourself are changing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I can't host people due to my flatmates' decision: in september, I'll move out and I'll be prepared to host (I hope!). By the way, check the apartment profile to find new references! http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/putogianfranco/
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although I'm pretty new in CS, I had a wonderful time in this community... I hosted people from Poland and Germany, and surfed in northern Spain: one of my best journeys! I'm very satisfied with the CS system, specially with the guarantee system: I feel confortable and safe.
Interests
I'm crazy with linguistics and languages!!! I love learning about it, and I want to work with it (that's a bit utopian too, but I'm optimistic about it).
I like music, literature, arts, talk and hear from people... Learn something from everyone :) a friend of mine says that often I show a "listening intelligence", that means that don't worry if I seem bored or meditative while you talk to me: it's because I'm absorbing something from you (or I'm very tired. Or you're actually boring. You never know!)
I love make dinner for my friends, and then spend the whole night nattering and wondering with a glass of wine. These are the things I really like to do, instead of spending the night dancing in a club with music I don't like, without hearing people's voice.
I discovered a passion in knitting! I'll soon post some pictures of my dear creations. I usually convince people to appreciate my works and tell me I'm so good. This is a picture of my most desired knitting work:
At some time in my life, I fall in love with a videogame and I spend the whole day playing it. Until I get bored. Then another videogame shows up!
Right now, I'm studying basque language and it seems to be the most interesting thing I'm facing right now! It really really is fascinating.
I love just laying down into a park or garden, doing anything but feeling the warm touch of sunlight, nattering and eating... It charges me to face the awful days!

Music, Movies, and Books
About Music: almost Rock, Jazz, Blues and similar... Here's a list. The Beatles (guess who's my favorite beatle?), Art Tatum, John Coltrane, Mannarino, Fabrizio De Andrè, Chet Baker, Pure Reason Revolution's "Amor Vincit Omnia", Modena City Ramblers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jorge Drexler, Deep Purple, Sergio Caputo...
I suppose I like popular cuban music, I really need to explore this world: in the meanwhile, I love the Buena Vista Social Club.
Traditional brazilian music! Samba really let my ass shake! Aguas de março, A garota de Ipanema, Carinhoso...
Some spanish music: Ska-P, Lagarto Amarillo, Mago de Oz and a few other songs.
I see almost every kind of movies, just because I'm sooo ignorant about quality movies. That's why I let my boyfriend choose them! Recently, I liked: La madre, The best exotic Marigold hotel, Los ojos de Julia, Children of men...
We always have a TV serie to watch: American horror story, the 4400, Scrubs, How I met your mother, The big bang theory, Grimm, Family guy, The Simpsons, and the brand new italian non-sense serie Mario, from Maccio Capatonda!
My favourite books are:
J.Saramago "O evangelho segundo Jesus Cristo"
G.G. Márquez "El amor en los tiempo del cólera"
and others from these two writers
S. Benni, almost everything from this italian writer
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry "The little prince"
Charles Baudelaire "Les fleurs du mal"
Well, I have a lot of "favourite things", so in a few weeks I'll have something else to put here!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Absolutely: India; Ferrara Busker Festival and stories about that trip; Roberto Benigni that suddenly appeared on a stage in which he hadn't to stay (what a incredible experience, I LOVE him and I've never seen him before <3 )...; My Northern-Spain-Trip!!
LIST IN PROGRESS! Life is the most wonderful experience in life :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to play guitar, but I gave up, so I'd like to find someone who can help me love playing again... Just asking me to teach him, or the opposite, offering to teach me! I also like singing, and music in general :)
I would like to learn almost everything: my dream is to learn every language in the world, so you can imagine... I'd like, for example, to find someone who can teach me something about psichology: I'm fascinated from psyche and this stuff, but I don't know ANYTHING. I'm trying to read Freud, but it's sooooo difficult to cultivate this interest! Also, I'd like to learn Hindi(and Sanskrit too): just like a hobby, I really loved India when I went there, and I dreamed to learn reading hindi language.
