Hi, I'm Marty!

I'm a San Diego, CA native and I recently left my place in SF and started Couchsurfing w/ friends around California.

I discovered my affinity for travel when my parents started sending me off alone to be with my extended family in Lithuania at age 10. There I would spend weeks acting as a helping hand on my grandpa's farm helping manage animals, plow land, gather honey, ...

For a while, I wanted to be a musician. I wrote music, played in a band, and wanted to attend Julliard. My interests dramatically changed when I began playing with robots and decided I wanted to instead pursue entrepreneurship in the technology space.

I love learning new things from new people and am especially excited to meet other avid readers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a road trip from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas! My two buddies and I drove over 2,000 miles over a 10-day period driving up and down the entire Baja California peninsula. During the trip we camped on the beach, almost got stranded in the desert, and ran into bandits and other not-so-friendly figures.
